There's always been this argument on which is better; a Public University or a Private university. To me it's all relative and depends on the person involved. This article is just to do a Quick comparison of Public Universities (State and Federal) and Private Universities. This comparison is based on the several criteria.

Private Universities are Tertiary Education institutions that run on self-defined rules and goals. They are funded by individual and organizations besides the government. Such organizations include churches, Companies etc. Most private universities in Nigeria Are More expensive in terms of Tuition compared to Federal and State Universities.

State Universities are Tertiary Education institutions that run on defined rules and goals defined by the state government of the state that funds them. Most State universities in Nigeria are not as expensive as Private Universities, A few are Slightly more expensive than Federal universities but pretty much in terms of Tuition most state Universities School fees is Below N200,000.

Federal Universities are Tertiary Education institutions that run on defined rules and goals defined by the Federal Government of Nigeria.. Federal universities in Nigeria are not as expensive as Private Universities as they are funded by the Federal Government, In terms of Tuition most federal Universities School fees is Below N100, 000.
